Happy Friday, dear fungi lovers!

I must confess I am not into picking mushrooms. But I am a big lover of mountains. Not kind of hiker who, you know, spends the night in a tent and tries to cover the longest possible distance. Due to my physical form and age. But I always try to make the most of it, I mean I really enjoy the process. Watching the views, breathing and feel smells, listening to the forest, spotting mushrooms, berries, small insects, birds and so on. This is so exciting and always makes the best memories.

Okay. What I am trying to say is that during my latest mountain trip, I came across many mushrooms on my way, especially inedible ones. These pictures are from our daily hike to Rotylo mountain peak.

Later, I was told that fly agaric mushrooms can even be eaten raw. I had never heard this before and am not sure if it is true. At least they are photogenic.

At least I know for sure that pale toadstools and their relatives are absolutely not worth eating. Unless you want to die.

This mushroom, whose name I also don’t know, looked bright and a little exotic. But I never pick the mushroom if I am not sure it is 100% edible. And ... I can recognise very few species of edible ones.

I rarely pick mushrooms, as I said, I’m not very good at it. But this year there are a lot of mushrooms in the Carpathians. So even beginners like us were lucky. I found this porcini mushroom!

My hubby picked more than me because he has better eyes 😉

I love your pics in the forests of the Carpathians! Such a pretty place, and different than our forests here! I, too, am afraid of picking mushrooms in the wildl mushrooms are quite tasty, but I would probably pick the wrong ones! 😆

Насправді голосування можна дивитись і за кількістю голосів і за кількістю HP.

Зараз тестуємо новий функціонал, який можна використовувати для збільшення активності учасників нашої спільноти.

При цьому, враховувати можна як кількість голосів, так і їх силу відповідно до рівня HP.

У подальших опитуваннях з грошовою винагородою за змістовні коментарі НР буде враховуватись при її виплаті.

Наприклад, наявність у користувача 100 НР унеможливить зловживання за допомогою ботів в опитуваннях та мотивуватиме користувачів збільшувати рівень свого НР.
